The Village of Taylor’s Vine
Rumors and Such from Game Start:
The vineyards are expected to have a strong crop this year and much gold is expected to enter the town as a result.
The town council will soon decide who will represent Taylor’s Vine at the 125th anniversary memorial services at Backwater come fall.
It is expected that the school teacher will soon move on. He seems to need a change.
An unknown disease has caused a very high rate of crib death since the season changed to spring.
The newest addition to the town council is out only for himself. He doesn’t really care about the village.
Disturbing lights continue to be seen on the Fairie Mound. There are conflicting reports of blue and green lights, and some who claim to have seen red ones as well.
The Day of Vernal Balance is only a month away. Many festivities are planned and all look forward to celebrating the full blush of spring as Elizar bestows her blessings upon us.
The men who left to perform the Swapping of Sons are expected to return in time for the holiday. They are expected to bring representatives from the Elven Lands to share in our merriment.
Two strangers have recently come to town. They’ve spent much of their time in the Church and at the house of Terrance Jacobs. Some believe them to be Acolytes of Cioreh and wonder what that portends.
Trevor Guilford has not been seen for three weeks. This is longer than he usually wanders the woods. Many hope the illegitimate bastard has gone off to the Tanglewood Forest he so often speaks of and will not return this time.
Others who travel the woodland paths report odd feelings ranging from of sudden merriment to unfounded melancholy. Some even report unexplained terror. The cause for this is unknown.
The Old Hermit continues to claim terrible things await us with the coming of autumn during his infrequent supply visits.
The Church may soon be granted permission to send a member of the community to Study at the University in Landengren.
