In the kingdom of Nordengren, four prisoners were selected to perform three tasks for the kingdom in exchange for their freedom.  These prisoners included:

 

Drexel (played by Will S.): An impetuous hobbit thief with a propensity for stealing valuables from temples.  During his captivity he received visions from from Winken, who was at that time beginning his apotheosis.

 

Ivan the Rhymer (played by Jarrett B.): An itinerant hobbit musician who performed rhymes set to percussive beats, a traditional form of hobbit music.

 

Sal (Played by Hajime O.): A pious, young, and agile swordsman who had escaped his training as a gladiator to make his way in the world and seek redemption for his past sins.

 

Jonathan Jessup, Earl of Mobray (Played by Aaron M.): An aristocratic rogue who claimed nobility and was granted many blessings by Laken, the sky god.

 

While being transported to the palace from their cells in Hanlon, the party is attacked by goblins.  Two warriors, Jonathan Barbarin and Leland Kirkson lead the counterattack as the PCs fight for their lives.  Drexel attempts to escape, and despite stabbing Kirkson with his own sword, fails and is subdued for the remainder of the journey.

Alucard Dalv, the king's vizier leads mysterious group that wears maroon cloaks with gold edging?  Or just local fashion trend?

 

freedom granted, party continues service to king, gets badges.

 

attack of the dragons on Rowling.  Drexel and Ivan work with Strings, the gang boss, to rebuild.

 

Jonathan buys a house in the city and hires a man named Calvin as a housekeeper.

 

During a visit, the dwarf priest of Cioreh Lord Bloodlocks senses evil in Alucard and calls him out.  Alucard flees, murders the king and fakes his own death.  There is no blood heir, so it goes to one of the Archdukes.

 

Ivan impersonates the King's ghost and speaks to the new king.

 

Jansen Sentry becomes king.  Mercenary guilds are still outlawed.

 

Curse of the Storm Queen on the way back from ______ via kayak?  Cursed loot, including hook that Jonathan gives to Drexel to replace his lost hand.  The hook makes Drexel increasingly hostile to Jonathan.  When the heroes return, they find that their house was burnt down by Alucard.  When Drexel laughs at Jonathan's plight, he realizes that the hook was cursed and has it removed by the clergy of (Laken?).

 

Solve murders in Rowling (it turns out to be Sven the alchemist who killed people who had headaches).

 

visit to Coastal City, solve murders there (turns out to be spirit like the one trapped in Jonathan's bag of bones)

visiting the estate of Jonathan Barbarin, fighting Kobolds in their lair, get magic net.  Leave biscuits by way of apology.
